Signals after each close (~5:30 PM ET)

BUY WEC WEC Energy Group at the open on Monday, Nov 9

How to follow it

  1. After each close (~5:30 PM ET) Polaris publishes its signal for the next session: buy, sell, hold or stay in cash.
  2. Buy at the open. A market-on-open order (or a market order right at 9:30 AM ET).
  3. Right after the fill, place two sell orders, good-till-cancelled: a stop-loss at your fill minus the published distance (2 × the stock's average daily range, ATR14) and a limit sell at your fill plus the same distance. Whichever is hit first closes the trade (the exact levels are posted after the open).
  4. If neither is hit, sell at the open after 10 trading days (a SELL signal is published the evening before).
  5. One position at a time. The record uses the official open and close prices, 0.05% cost per side, and the full account per trade. A stock can open below its stop after bad news, so a loss can be bigger than the stop distance.

Tested before launch

Polaris's rules were chosen with a pre-registered walk-forward test, then checked once on a year it had never seen:

Backtests are not guarantees. The live record below starts on its first session.
